In this episode, Vivian and Rob discuss:
• The difference between followers and genuine Kingdom influence• Growing an audience versus growing lasting influence• The pressure Christian communicators face to build a platform• Why authenticity and heart posture matter more than numbers• Discerning the difference between good opportunities and God's assignment• Staying spiritually balanced through prayer, discernment, and obedience• Encouragement for women who feel their influence is too small to matter• How Abundant TV is creating opportunities for Christian voices to reach the world

What happens when the thing you turn to for relief becomes the very thing holding you captive?
In this powerful and deeply honest conversation, Trina Brannen shares her journey from depression, marijuana and alcohol addiction, and spiritual disconnection to a life transformed by God's grace. What began as a way to cope with emotional pain eventually became a dependency that left her feeling isolated and trapped. Through Christian counseling, recovery programs, authentic community, and God's relentless pursuit of her heart, Trina found the freedom she never thought possible.
Together, Vivian and Trina discuss the growing normalization of marijuana use, particularly among women, the challenges of overcoming addiction in a culture that often celebrates it, and the importance of bringing hidden struggles into the light.
Whether you're battling addiction, struggling with depression, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life's challenges, this episode is a reminder that healing is possible, shame does not have the final word, and God is still in the business of restoration.
GUEST BIOTrina Brannen was born and raised in Santa Rosa, California, and she loves her hometown. She met her first husband at the age of 14, and that was when she was introduced to marijuana. They married at 19, and by age 26, she had two beautiful kids. She divorced at age 35, then met a new man a few years later. They married and became a blended family of six.
Trina has been a Christian for over 20 years, but over the last 10 years, she has finally begun seeking a deeper relationship with God and learning what it means to surrender her life to Him fully.
Trina’s journey has not always been easy. She struggled on and off with marijuana addiction for more than 40 years and battled depression for the last 25 years. Through God’s grace, strength, and faithfulness, Trina experienced true freedom and healing in 2026. That transformation has completely changed her life and deepened her passion for encouraging others who may be walking through similar struggles. Her favorite life verse is: "The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth." Psalms 145:18

Burnout almost convinced Diana that exhaustion was just a normal part of life.
Constantly pouring into everyone else while running on empty, she found herself overwhelmed, weary, and searching for something more than temporary relief.
In this powerful testimony, Diana shares how attending the Burned-Out and Ready for a Better Way small group became a turning point in her life. What began as a step toward healing has now become a passion to help other women recognize that they were never meant to live depleted, disconnected, and barely surviving. Restoration is possible, and Diana wants others to experience it too.
GUEST BIODiana Williams grew up in a deeply unstable and traumatic environment marked by addiction, abuse, and confusion about identity and belonging.
As a child and teenager, she struggled with low self-worth, constantly seeking love and validation through performance, relationships, and later substance use, while enduring foster care and family dysfunction.
Her early adulthood continued in chaos, including an unstable marriage, addiction, and emotional pain, despite moments of resilience like finishing school and becoming a mother.
A turning point came in her early 30s when, after hitting emotional rock bottom, she sought help through therapy and entered a 12-Step recovery program, committing to a path of sobriety.
Through recovery and faith, Diana began to rebuild her life, developing a relationship with God, healthier boundaries, and a stronger sense of worth and purpose. Today, Diana is a grounded, stable, happy wife, mother, and grandmother who reflects with gratitude on her transformation, finding peace, love, and fulfillment through service, spirituality, music, and meaningful relationships.

What do you do when life feels like it’s falling apart? You look for "The Covering."
In this episode, Vivian Cumins sits down with former journalist turned author and ministry leader, Stephanie Esposito, for a vulnerable look at faith under pressure. Born out of a grueling season of trial with her son, Stephanie shares the exact moment she stopped praying "safe" prayers and started praying bold ones. By leaning into the scriptural truth that God cannot lie, she put His promises to the ultimate test.
This conversation is a masterclass in standing confidently on the Word of God, cultivating emotional resilience, and finding the strength to lead your family through the fire.
Tune in to learn how to foster resilience and discover that trusting in the character of a God who cannot lie is the ultimate game-changer for your daily life.
GUEST BIO:Stephanie Esposito grew up spending four nights a week in church. A pastor’s daughter and granddaughter, she ran from ministry and hid in television news—working her way through ABC, NBC, and independent affiliates before landing at Fox 29 in Philadelphia as a reporter on the city’s number-one-rated morning show, Good Day Philadelphia. Her work was frequently featured on the Fox News Network.
Throughout her broadcast career, Stephanie covered major national and international stories, including reporting on Hurricane Sandy from the eye of the storm, winning an Associated Press Award for coverage of a gas explosion in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and interviewing U.S. Presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and John McCain. After more than a decade in television, Stephanie found her voice taking on new form. She transitioned into voiceover work while helping launch and build the online ministry of a megachurch—leveraging her storytelling background to communicate truth, authority, and clarity as well as uncovering leadership skills that had been untapped.
Stephanie is the author of The Covering: Spiritual First Aid for Families, a faith-based book rooted in Scripture and written to equip families to pray God’s Word with confidence. She is passionate about teaching believers that God can not lie and that His promises and authority are not symbolic, but meant to be lived and exercised daily.
